What is cognitive therapy?
Cognitive therapy rejects the vision of the human being as a passive victim of his unconscious impulses or his own history; The human being is an active agent capable of directing his own change.
The objective of cognitive therapy will be to identify those cognitions harmful to the person, in order to modify them towards more adaptive and achieve the wellbeing of the individual.

In- person psychotherapygives you the chance to have a direct contact with me. There are some people who like to talk face to face with their therapist as they express themselves better, or are simply more comfortable in a closer environment.
